Each phone in the Galaxy Z series is built to be tough and to last through everyday wear and tear. The new Galaxy Z Fold7 is secured by Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 on the front and back, with an Advanced Armor Aluminium frame that protects it from drops and scrapes.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE are made with a Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 screen to protect against bumps and scuffs, and with Armour Aluminium to protect the frame. 

Galaxy Z Series 6 phones are built with Armour Aluminium that’s 10% tougher than the Z 5 series phones. They also use Gorilla Glass Victus 2, to keep the screen protected from marks and scratches.

All Galaxy Z Series phones feature IPX8 water resistance, meaning they’re water-resistant for up to 30 minutes in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater.

The screen is even bigger on Fold7, going up from 7.6 inches on the Fold6 to 8 inches on the latest model. And yet it’s thinner than ever before. Flip6 is 5.9mm thin, whereas the new Fold7 is 4.2mm. 

The Fold7 camera has had a huge makeover too, with the main camera upgraded from 50MP to 200MP, to bring it into line with the premium Samsung S25 Ultra. 

The Z Flip7 also has a bigger screen, going from 6.7 inch now to 6.9 inch when flipped open, and it’s slightly thinner too. Image quality also takes a big leap on the cover screen, going from Super AMOLED to a Dynamic AMOLED display, improving both the colour and brightness. There’s also more battery power, as Flip7 comes with a 4300mAh battery, compared to Flip6’s 4000mAh battery.

Both Fold7 and Flip7 have an improved chipset, to offer more processing power for demanding tasks and more seamless multitasking across screen and apps. They also have new AI features. Your phone can summarise and take notes from YouTube videos. And you can now have real time conversation with Google Gemini about what’s on your screen, so it can show you how to use an app, help you touch up pictures, collaborate on creative projects, and more. 

Galaxy Z Fold7 is 158.4 x 143.2 x 4.2mm when it’s unfolded, and is 158.4 x 72.8 x 8.9mm when folded.

Galaxy Z Flip7 is 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5mm when it’s unfolded, and 85.5 x 75.2 x 13.7mm and when folded.

Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9mm when unfolded and 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9mm when folded.
